Do you or your child have ADHD?

Bored woman by a laptop not working

One of my favourite part of my job is working with children and adults with neurodiversity!

The last few years there has been a huge increase in awareness about ADHD and ASD in children, and more recently (thanks to Tik Tok!) more awareness about adult ADHD.

While Dr Google is amazing, there is also a lot of unscientific and unhelpful information about neurodiversity.

So I’m grateful for the opportunity to do a podcast episode with Dr Angela Lim from Clearhead to demystify and deep dive into this hot topic.

Here are some of the questions I’ll answer in the podcast:

1. How do I know if my child has ADHD or Autism?

2. Who should I speak to in order to find out if my child has ADHD?

3. What is the impact of the covid19 lockdown on children developing ADHD?

4. What type of support for the child and parents should you put in place if your child has neurodevelopmental issues like ADHD?

5. When should you look at medication as a form of support for your child with ADHD?

6. How do you know if you should be assessed for ADHD as an adult?

7. How can we determine if a child is acting out due to ADHD or adverse childhood events such as abuse that is going on instead?

You can find the podcast episode in you favourite platform. The spotify, apple and spreaker version links directly to the part of the podcast where I talk about ADHD and neurodiversity.

As always, I’d love to hear from you if you have any questions or thoughts about this topic.

If you would like an assessment for your child or for yourself then feel free to contact me.
